The Highland House Hotel is centrally located, just minutes from the iconic Dam Square. Each room tells a unique story through its themed decor, which I found delightful. The shower was a highlight—luxurious and with strong water pressure. Staff members greeted us with warm smiles, and complimentary drinks in the room were a thoughtful touch.
The bathroom layout was a bit of a drawback, as the lack of doors for the shower made privacy a concern. I also found the corridors narrow, which could be tricky with luggage. Although the charm of the hotel outweighs these flaws, some practicalities could be improved.

The theme of the rooms was chef’s kiss. Everything was well thought out, multipurpose furniture, like the tv stand that doubled as a coat hanger. The atmosphere was just right, and even the staff was friendly, always ready to help out. They even offered umbrellas if you left yours behind!
It was a bit pricey, but worth it for the experience.
